The Regional Logisitics & Packaging Manager is responsible to actively manage all Logistics activities in theLATAM region. The role provides strategic and tactical Services to all business segments in Cabot for Transportation, Warehousing and Packaging activities, including support for the operations teams. This role is responsible for developing strategic sourcing initiatives in close alignment with the Businesses, the P2D Planning Team and the Global Logistics Director.
In addition, this role is in charge to establish and further develop best in class supplier performance management, including supplier life cycle management and supplier quality assessment. The regional manager shall also provide regular market intelligence to internal stakeholders and is the Center of Excellence (CoE) and subject matter expert for all logistics aspects. Engages with Business to meet customer needs, provides innovation & digitalization process improvements on top of cost savings and supporting the companies sustainability targets. This role has full budget and supplier management responsibility.
To provide strong leadership and technical expertise by fostering a culture of learning, team work, improvement and innovation, by listening and working in partnership with the LATAM plants and Manufacturing Excellence Group (MEG) to drive performance for tomorrow and collaborate to deliver performance today.
The role has accountability for creating and developing the Carbon Black Asset Reliability continuous improvement plans (CIPs) in partnership with the plants and LATAM region. Ensures CIPs integrate key SH&E and operational standards.
